Just by pressing the speed-dial button on your mobile phone your pre-recorded message and the location from where the call was activated is sent out via voice, text and email, so that one (or more) of your nominated contacts can be made aware of the emergency situation. You can set your own pre-recorded message, and then configure your trusted contact list personally, so that you can decide exactly who is contacted. Up to five close contacts will receive your messages. You can also change your message and contact list whenever you want, and as often as you need to, depending on your situation at the time.

In addition to its use as a tool for emergencies, mobileSOS can also be used to reassure loved ones, as well. With another speed-dial call, you can let your colleagues, family and friends know that you are safe, that you have arrived at a particular location, or simply where you are.

For anyone entering a potentially dangerous situation, a Timer function can be used to activate a variable timer that will trigger the emergency alert but only if it is not cancelled before the timer runs out.
