CriticalSMS - Mobifi Products

The CriticalSMS service allows you to monitor your organisation's servers via the Internet and as soon as a server stops responding, an SMS text message alert is sent to the administrator's mobile phone. The CriticalSMS service is run from Mobifi's own servers without the need for your organisation to install any new software or hardware on your network.

You can remotely monitor any of your critical systems or applications such as:

  • Database Server
  • FTP Server
  • Telnet
  • DNS Server

By accessing the administrator's user interface via your web browser, you select which servers you would like to monitor, which members of staff you'd like to forward alerts to and whether you want to receive SMS text or email messages, or both. You control your settings and can make amendments at any time.

You can also select any number of different settings, allowing you to choose how often you want servers monitored, when and to whom alerts are to be sent and there is even an escalation path so that in the event of a member of staff not responding to an SMS text alert (out of coverage, mobile switched off, etc), other personnel can be notified too. Statistics and details of Sent Items are readily available so that you can view the failure history of any server. This makes Mobifi's CriticalSMS service one of the most comprehensive SMS monitor and alert services available today.
