Virtual Mobile Number
A Virtual Mobile Number (VMN) enables your organisation (or application) to receive inbound SMS text messages from almost any mobile user on any mobile network, worldwide. A VMN resembles an 11 digit mobile number and is designed to receive SMS text messages without the need for a GSM terminal or SIM card.
Mobile users pay their standard network charges to send an SMS text message to a VMN and it is free for you to receive inbound SMS messages.

Virtual Mobile Number (VMN) - Standard
Mobifi provides you with a dedicated 11 digit Virtual Mobile Number (VMN or MSISDN) which enables your organisation to receive SMS text messages.
Inbound SMS messages are mapped to a pre-defined email address so that you will receive them as an email. Alternatively, you can receive the messages via HTTP if you wish to integrate this service with your own IT systems or application.
The option of setting up an auto-reply is also available and as we manage the whole service for you, no access to a web-interface is required.

Mobifi provides you with a dedicated 11 digit Virtual Mobile Number (VMN or MSISDN) which enables your organisation to receive SMS text messages.
Inbound SMS messages are mapped to a pre-defined email address so that you will receive them as an email. Alternatively, you can receive the messages via HTTP if you wish to integrate this service with your own IT systems or application.
The option of setting up an auto-reply is also available and as we manage the whole service for you, no access to a web-interface is required.
A web-based interface which is provided so that you can have full access to comprehensive inbound message reporting and control a number of settings which include: creating auto-replies, activate/de-activate auto-reply settings and the routing of inbound SMS messages to a specific destination email address or as an option, to an HTTP page.
This service allows you to have complete control of the way you handle inbound SMS messages and you can make changes to suit your inbound SMS requirements.
Virtual Mobile Number (VMN) - Keyword
This is no doubt the most comprehensive inbound SMS service available today. This option provides you with all the features of the Virtual Mobile Number Plus service but also enables you to create an unlimited number of keywords.
Keywords enable you to receive SMS text messages with a predefined keyword and have them routed to the email address of your choice.
You have full control of the keywords you wish to create, which destination email address you will map the inbound SMS messages to and the settings of different auto-reply messages for each keyword.
If you are looking for a very flexible inbound SMS solution that you have complete control over then this option represents the ideal solution to maximise the potential of inbound SMS messaging.
Shared Virtual Mobile Number (VMN) - Keyword
We can provide you with a keyword on one of our shared Virtual Mobile Numbers. You simply select which keyword(s) you wish to use (subject to availability) and we will configure the routing of any inbound SMS messages beginning with the keyword to the email address of your choice and activate any auto-reply accordingly.
As we manage the whole service for you, no access to a web-interface is required.
